Designing for variety: treating neurodiversity as data, not deviation.
Brains defy our standard ways of thinking about science and scientists. Traditionally, variability in data is viewed as noise, and differences between people are viewed as deviations from a "normal". However, we feel the deepest insights and future of neuroscience lives in variation-within data, and among minds. To spark innovation we design for variety, cultivating diversity in both the practice of neuroscience and the ways we support neuroscientists.
